Seeing this damn near brings tears to my eyes. My little bro and I must have rented this game from Blockbuster enough times to buy it outright, maybe even twice. So many awesome memories. I would give anything to go back and feel that same happiness just for 10 minutes.

This game was so good. One of my best friends and I played the absolute hell out of this, and N2O Nitrous Oxide. He passed away April 19th, 2024. I bought a copy of the game off of ebay to remember him. Knew him for 26 years. I going to miss him for the rest of my life.

its crazy no combat car games today can match how excellent Vigilante 8 and Twisted metal 2 were , still are !

This game, Twisted Metal 2 and Tomb Raider were the whole reason I bought a Playstation.

I absolutely loved the car physics, impact physics, movement of vehicles from damage of weapons and impacts. Weapons physical attributes like when the missile is launched how it actually has to propel. The cannons when you get them how the move and focus on enemies. I haven’t seen anything close yet to this day

V8 games were great. From their presentations to gameplay to graphics.

This unlocked a very specific childhood memory and I remember using a cheatcode to unlock the alien dude. Flying the saucer around was so cool!
