Hardcore gamers can play games without sleeping

The most important play is maybe 2hrs max then I gotta do something else .
  • I play cartoon games where colors popping is the main apeal so i think the oled is gonna be beat for me

I mainly play on console (PS5) and so don't have much games bought on the launchers. So, I almost got the Legion Go for the power of it, but I have my gaming laptop (Asus) and the Deck Oled will give the console experience I like (resume after sleep, customization like I had with my PSP) and the screen with HDR is amazing. The battery life is also great and now growing my Steam library and also streaming steam games from my laptop to the Deck, is great just like with PS remotr play.

It is all boil down to raw power vs comfort. Steamdeck give you conforting gaming experience for sure, with the Steam OS. Z1 Extreme Ally give you way stronger raw power and performance, but windows 11 sometimes is glitchy and not optimized really well with hand held.

You made the right choice! I also own the Ally and I’m loving it! I don’t even care about user complaints about battery life! Portable doesn’t mean you have to play unplugged. 😊 It’s pretty simple… Regardless of the handheld you own, if you want the better output, more power and game time, PLUG IT IN!!!
  • I love the SD OLED, and the resolution is amazing, as are the ergonomics. But I haven’t tried the ROG Ally (I have the Ally X preordered to get a feel for it). If you enjoy it, and the negatives don’t bother you, then it’s right!

I love the honesty in this review. Also, a great video. It's the steam deck oled for me. I gotta say though, I couldn't game for only 30mins, I'd just be warming up. Unless I have to jump off, I'm not lol maybe 2-3hrs max. Average 1 hour. You should try 1hr ish* new sub here 👍🏼🍀

Steam deck is great for console gamers. As its as close to a console experience. I love my Oled but I'm a console and PC gamer. So I am also going to purchase the Ally X
  • The ally has genuinely been incredible for me. I love that thing so much
  • @shaolin95
Yes mistake either way. Grab a Legion Go like i did and you will understand why it is the King! I sold my OLED right after

The only thing bad about windows is it uses a lot of ram resources. I think ally X solves the problem with 8gb ram more.

Personally even if they were the same price I would still go with the Steam deck cause of the touchpads, being supported by valve, the battery, the color of the device, the shape, the fact that it doesn't have giant flashy LED's around the joysticks, and many more things. I think I just prefer the steam deck.
