She's trying to control her accent people. That's why she takes a while to talk. Her accent is super strong so if she talks fast no one will understand. If you actually take the time to really listen to her you can tell she's doing it purposely.

Ok for all the people who are going to ask why she talks so slow, she is Bajan, and their accent is actually extremely hard, so if she wants to be clear she has to talk slow so her accent doesnt take over
