Steve, as one of the most sincere, positive, honourable and genuine drone community members, it's hard to ignore the emotion, heart-felt message and intentions behind what you say in this video. It can only be hoped that Bill listens to what you have said, how you've supported him and that he then steps back, absorbs and learns. You're a really good guy Steve, regardless of the outcome keep happy and move on.

Well done, Steve. As you are probably (disappointingly) aware, I devote very little time to YouTube lately, and as such I missed the drama (thank God!!!). I see it’s had a pretty wide-reaching impact on our community. I cannot speak to any of that - I wasn’t a part. What I can speak to is your ever-present professionalism and good sense. I hope this all blows over for you and that it’ll soon become part of the forgotten past. Nice to see you in any circumstances. Keep being you!

The video in question had me upset when Bill said he and his wife were attacked ( Wives are out of bounds ). As this was live while Ken's live stream was still in progress I had the opportunity to review and could not find any such "attack" of either an Astronaut or Him and his wife as he had stated. That coupled with the blocking of those who have supported him in the past and the derogatory comments directed at you Steve, duped not only me, but others who did not have the chance to review Ken's video. Fortunately Bill was convinced several days later to remove the videos. They were Fuel for the FAA's policy enforcement of knowing your equipment and emergency policies & procedures. The video was detrimental to the FT Aviator itself as Bill was unfamiliar with this product and it's software. DJI's UAV's RTH upon the press and hold of the RTH button, Loss of signal with the controller, moving from "P" Mode to "S" Mode and back to "P" Mode - now APAS while returning home. Unfortunately Bill does not agree.

Wow Great Honest video Steve! I can’t comment too much because I don’t know what happened and I didn’t see his live stream on that day , so I’m kind of lost here. I considered you and Bill great persons and you Steve above all I can attest that you are a great supporter of small youtubers like me and even big YouTubers. You are always here to support us on this YouTube journey because I have seen it myself. Anyways , I am not sure what happened but I wish you and Bill at some point down the line can fix things if it even is possible.

Wow! So far even though I've been disappointed I have given Bill the benefit of the doubt.  If this is the way he treats a loyal supporter who has invested as many, many hours in his live streams as Steve has, this is unconscionable.

I'm not worried about it. I unsubscribed from him after the stream. He is a nice guy but I don't get much from his channel anyway.

I think this is 100% spot on in every aspect. Like I said I've already decided not to make any more videos about Bill this isn't me talking now this is other people that are upset by the actions and activities of this individual. Even big YouTubers apologize, take Casey neistat for example he's a massive Channel but he apologizes when he needs to and moves on. sometimes you just have to swallow your pride give your apology and then move on. if people cant accept it that's their problem but make sure whatever it is comes from your heart. you need to be honest with your apology and yourself only then will you be free of your situation. It's not about you Bill it's about them and trust me you're not going to lose control of your Channel doing what people are asking you to do you won't be giving into anything it's just you saying you're sorry for the actions that you committed too. If you were willing to make the video then you also were willing to take the consequences of it and those consequences can sometimes not be the most wonderful thing or feeling but you can't just bury the situation and move on. Real life doesn't work that way you have hurt people and they are expecting an apology.

Steve as I said before with knowing all the support you have shown Bill from day 1 that if there was anybody he should trust and take advice from it would be you! Every single person on Mel's stream that night was trying to help Bill and give him the advice he should have followed and even if he trusted no one on that panel he should have realized and acknowledged that because you took the same position that as the rest of the group that maybe there was some truth to what was being said! It was disappointing to say the least that he wanted to place conditions on his making an apology as if you truly are sorry for what you did then that is the reason for the apology and not because that was the deal or agreement you made with a group of people! Everyone on that panel that night has kept their word except for Bill. It was clear to me and I am sure many others that Bill seemed to want to keep that chip on his shoulder even though he said he was sorry for what he did, it's almost as though he didn't want this drama to end and now with his refusal to keep his word maybe that is the case! Maybe in some weird embarrassing way he enjoyed the spot light it put him in such as he expressed with all the negative comments he received he still gained viewers for his channel from it! Breaking this down as simple as it can be Bill made and posted an embarrassing video showing that in a situation where he should kept his head he panicked like a little school girl! That was his first mistake! Secondly when he was asked if the video could be shared he allowed it but he only wanted the part of the video used that would favor the product so that he would continue to be in the good graces of the product manufacturer and continue to receive products from them and hopefully others in the future! This is so wrong when you don't want to be honest to the people you are claiming to do reviews for just to remain in good with the product maker! You can't take the first product you actually review and lie to the people about it and expect to keep their trust! Thirdly he started a live stream whereas he falsely claimed that negative comments were made about his wife when nothing more was said other than is that his wife's voice! That's all he could say as he couldn't really comment that he was so upset that the deceptive video that he wanted to be used wasn't used! Bill was embarrassed and his feelings were hurt so with intent and malice he decided to try and make the other party look bad creating drama that he brought the whole drone community into and now he owes the whole drone community an Apology! Bill tried to make the other party look bad in a public forum and now Bill needs to APOLOGIZE in a public forum where defamed them at! An apology in a private email or phone call won't cut it in this situation! Bill then also needs to APOLOGIZE to all of his followers and the drone community as a whole for the false unnecessary drama he created in a public forum! Will Bill man up and own up to this or will he continue to run from this as a little school girl would with no accountability for their actions!
