It's never fun to find brood in honey supers, but if you don't use a queen excluder, this is very common! In this video we check on a hive's progress filling supers, discuss when to NOT add another super, and what to do with brood found in supers.

    How do you pull frames and drop them in so fast? I always have bees in the way and have issues putting frames back in without squishing bees. So irritating lol.

    Either do a late split or like you said if it’s near the end of the flow move it down and put honey up.

    What to do if you find brood in the honey super...... you make a new hive with each box and check on them in 3 weeks. The winners will have a new queen and the original queen will keep her hive running smooth. Obviously this is a nut shell comment and there is a lot more to this. But that's what I do when I find brood in multiple boxes..... take advantage of what they are doing and make new hives.

    You can spin the frame out with honey and brood and put it back in the hive and they will survive? I wouldn't think they would survive all that spinning plus i would think they would come out of the cells.
