Mudumalai National Park is one of the Tiger Reserve in India. The Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the North West region of Coimbatore city in Tamil Nadu state. The protected area is home to several endangered and vulnerable species including Indian elephant, Bengal tiger, gaur and Indian leopard.

You can easily spot a tiger in the Mudumalai national park. Take a jungle safari which will take you to the core zone of the jungle where you can easily spot a tiger or other wildlife species.

Mudumalai National Park, Ooty is located just 35 kilometres from South India's beloved hill station Ooty, it attracts numerous nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers who are eager to explore its beauty. The best time to visit this national park is between October and May.

Safari is a primary factor in Mudumalai National Park. The main attraction offers indeed fullest moment with your friends and family. Elephant Safari is no less than paradise for wandering soul. For the slow and steady ride like a wave, Elephant safari is most suitable option in the Mudumalai jungle.

An advance booking for the safari is allowed through the online process and the same-day safari booking can be made by visiting the official booking counter in Mudumalai at least one hour before the safari booking starts. However, advance booking or same-day counter booking is subject to availability.

A part of this area has been protected since 1940. The national park has been part of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve since 1986 and was declared a tiger reserve together with a buffer zone of 367.59 km2 (141.93 sq mi) in 2007.
