The part where he said he prostitutes because he craves being around someone who shows compassion, because he hasn’t been loved in so long really pulled at my heartstrings.

So sad. He's obviously in a drug indused psychosis and very lonely. Rather than laughing at him, understand that he deserves help. He may sound sketchy, but he's ill and has no one. I hope he gets the help he so desperately needs.

As a recovering alcoholic, it hit me so hard when Mark responded 'not at all, I don't do that" when he was asked if he'd judge Ernest for his honesty. We all know this. We see it in every video. As someone who still worries about stigma around addiction, hearing this is everything. Thank you, Mark.

UPDATE ON ERNIE….. After seeing this a few weeks ago, prayer was made for Ernest that he’d safely return home here in West Monroe, Louisiana. I hadn’t really thought anymore of it this week but I walked into our church tonight (Wednesday 6/15/22) and there was Ernie sitting on the front row! He looked as if he’d lost even more weight since this interview and had the look of a homeless person. He didn’t remember me from before when he used to attend church but was happy that I greeted him and sat with him. I asked him where he was staying after church dismissed and he said “nowhere.” Then I asked where his family was and he said that he had no more family in West Monroe and asked if I could get him something to eat, which of course I said “sure.” On the way to the fast food place, Ernie told me his nearest family was in another town about 60 miles away. I ordered him a bacon double cheeseburger and fries, which he pretty much inhaled. I told ernie that I’d take him to his family’s house and he lit up with joy and said thank you for what seemed a minute straight. On the drive down, I told him about seeing him on soft white underbelly. He asked for my phone so he could see the interview. It was his first time to see it. We talked about music, religion, the lack of compassion in this world, mental illness and life in general. There was some grandiosity in his speech but he was coherent, intelligible and in his right mind and definitely not on drugs. I asked him when was the last time he’d used and he said “just before I left California.” He’d said doctors diagnosed him before with schizo affective disorder and bipolar but says he was definitely not crazy! We stopped about halfway to our destination and I got him some toiletries, some comfort items , socks, towels and a backpack to put it all in and he was very thankful. I gave him a Bible too of course. By this time we are in extreme rural central Louisiana. A very long way from Hollywood, Santa Monica and LA in general. I’m talking dense pine thickets and roads that go for miles with no houses. We pulled into the little town and I safely delivered him into the hands of his great Aunt. I know where she lives and have her number. They also have my number. So Ernest is alive and well and has a roof over his head for the moment but says he will absolutely go back to California as soon as he can.

Been clean from meth for 11 years now. Seeing this interview makes me so happy I'm off that crap. Meth will steal your soul and by this interview it shows you it will take your mind too. Praying for all addictions.
  • I've heard some horrible things in life but one thing that really gets to me is hearing someone in tears saying they want to feel loved

🤔Funny how other interviewees get praised for coming on talking delusional content, but this guy gets badgered. I read praises all weekend for a particular guest. Let’s extend grace to all that are willing to share their story.
  • @snowviolet508
He describes his delusions with such sincerity and gentle conviction it’s just sad to hear how disconnected from reality he is. I hope the best for Ernest and that he could overcome his addiction.
  • You can hear he has much kindness in him just in his voice alone. He is someone that would love and appreciate to be taken into your arms and hugged, a real long, hard hug while being told he matters .....that is how I see him.

I was asking someone about you just the other day Ernie. I was wondering where you’d went. I went and looked for you at that vacant building you used to stay at out by Garrett road in Monroe even. You spoke with coherence and clarity when talking about your faith in this interview and you and I both know why. You were doing so well for a while there. Back on your meds, off drugs and coming to church. I don’t know how to find you but I’ll be praying for your safe return to West Monroe and ARC.

This was a wild one. Sleep deprivation is such a crazy thing. This is the underbelly.

After he said he was an alien and the son of celebrities I’m not too sure what was true but I just know he’s hurting and those drugs aren’t helping. I hope he can eventually get back to his family in Luisiana and be apart of his kids life. No one should feel unloved
  • @connieb9034
Anything to do with Crystal meth breaks my heart, my close friend died after taking Crystal meth at a party, fell from a balcony. He had no history of drug use, and it absolutely broke me. I’ll never get over it. I really hope Ernest can get help, I honestly wish him all the best x
  • After reading the comments, I'm shocked at how many people laughed and made jokes about Ernest. Honestly, there's nothing humorous about anything he said. He desperately needs help to free himself of drug addiction. I feel very badly for him and pray he gets the help he needs.
  • This man made a few very true statements. He knows he messed up. I do feel sorry for him. He's sad and feels utterly rejected and unloved. I hope in time he finds healing, sorry Ernest.
  • @RadRedhead222
It’s hard to tell if there’s parts of his story are true or not, but there’s true pain. I wish him the best. Thank you, Mark!
