Fun fact to save time: just like holding shift allows you to move scenery vertically, holding CTRL allows you to move it horizontally in the same plane. Meaning, if you're working on a building, you can CTRL-click to add multiple scenery like walls and roofs above the ground easily.

A basic station is always nice for any build, it never feels complete without one. Good tip to add in, in OpenRCT2 you can hold CTRL while hovering a piece you placed and you'll retain the same height as that piece. Really good for doing the roof panels.

With a bit of practice, a sense of perspective and creating an attractive queue station will come naturally, and this is the perfect video to get started in the right direction. I really do appreciate the fact that you were slow enough for novice builders to be able to see your moves, along with the helpful techniques about the particulars of wallbuilding. One of your best entries, if I may say so myself.

Nice. Some additions for the gameplay side of things; Add a "no entry" sign at the pathway from the ride exit, this prevents the guests from walking up the dead end path and potentially getting lost. Also add a couple of queue line TVs to the queue, this allows the guests to stay longer in the line before loosing too much happiness. Lastly a bench right on the path from the exit is good to accomodate guests hwo got too dissy/nauseous from the ride and help prevent them from puking on the paths.

Thank you so much for making this! I’ve been playing (very casually) since I was a kid, and want to try getting a little more detailed with decorating. This is a perfect guideline for starting out as I always struggled with making a decent station.

When I hold shift, I see the blue outline, but nothing I do raises the platform. Do you hold shift and press something else?
