Stario Launcher - Is this the perfect launcher for Android?

Published 2023-07-24
Stario Launcher is a very interesting and unique Android home launcher that aims to provide a minimal and decluttered experience, while prioritizing productivity and functionality.

Whether it achieves this goal is a different question. In this video I provide an overview of how the launcher works and talk about my experiences with it, including its strengths and the issues that I have come across.

It’s a nice launcher until it starts giving you headaches. I am using this on my Nothing Phone and every time I reboot, it gets activated as default launcher even though It’s really not my default launcher. Just now my device restarted and afterward this launcher took over🥲. Now it’s unresponsive and rebooting on its own as the launcher keeps crashing. Beware guys.

To change the icon pack in the latest apk you have to hold down on the icon pack you want to choose and place it top most. It's an ordered list, it looks very confusing
  • To change icon pack, you have to drag the iconpack to the first place. Drag the iconpack in the default space. Like we sort out or changing favourite app position in niagra launcher. And my question is: How to add or remove apps from categories??

I have this excess category box without any app on it. How to remove or delete that box?
  • the base is just OMG, simple, readable the things have great logic, Widgets from scrollbar is just huge. But then can I use fast gestures with it? I hate the buttons for main menu back etc. Is there a way to set it up?
