In this video, let's see how we can get ChatGPT to create a trading indicator for the TradingView platform. The end result is a basic mean reversion trading indicator based on the number of standard deviations from the mean.

For my own personal trading, I've added a filter based on whether the move is greater than the average of the 10 previous bars and if so, I take that as the signal for a mean reversion.

There've been a couple of PineScript updates since the training data set for ChatGPT was done and it looks like some of the code is a little outdated. Having said that, if you're ok to do some modification, it can bring your trading ideas to life fairly easily and quickly. Definitely quicker than coding from scratch.
