Grew up in Belgium in the 80s and when you went to the chocolatier, you chose what chocolates went in the box. There was no little paper with the contents or ingredients, whoever received the box just had to guess what was in the chocolates.

Life is like a box of chocolates, it ends when you put it in the oven.

Just once i'd love to to hear the Top Of The Pops top 40 countdown music in the background, while you guys are doing this. Many thanks for your Take on movies, and all that goes with it.

My favourite was always the Cockroach Cluster.

I suspect this is the box office on 26th of July and not June like the title suggests?

Forest Gump is so saccharine and unbelievable. We are supposed to believe this idiot was at all the major events of the 20th Century? Was he trying to find Jenny when he got swept into the events of January 6th? That'd be an interesting sequel.

I've never been quite sure why Forrest Gump got so much success. I know at the time, it was considered different and some of the effects were considered good, but for me, it was just ok, much like Tom Hanks portrayal. There were better films out that year, and whilst Pulp Fiction was never going to win, it was only one of the films that were overlooked. Also, how Hanks beat the other nominees for Best Actor was always a puzzle. I know that now, Shawshank is appreciated, but even then, it was a better film. Good to see it once, but not a film I could/watch again, unlike others from that year. Also, having thought of Junior song a split second before Simon, I don't feel too nerdy for remembering it!
