Each biome added may have its own ambient particles, fog, brightness, light color and more. Because of this, it is recommended to experience this mod without shaders, since many shaders can alter the appearance of several of the biomes. The mod also has built-in compatibility with Just Enough Items and Alex’s Mobs.

I’ve said it before but I will say it here too: This mod is everything I wish Caves and Cliffs was. Each biome is unique and offers a different adventure in each biome. And I love that.

for those who are wondering, the small gray creatures and the squid with the two long tentacles in the abyssal chasm are from the alex's mobs mod.

The Abyssal chasm has a Sabnautica vibe. It even has it´s own Levaiathan, and alot of other scary things.

They can actually be found with the locate command, but sometimes they spawn out of range of the command, hence why sometimes they arent found

The person/people who created the “Alex” mods is/are legitimately genius. I can’t even imagine the kind of coding and modeling work that must have gone into these. Also, there are enough creative, unique ideas in these mods to fill a series of fantasy novels.

great mod, I always wanted something like this in minecraft. After all, the underground world of caves has always been somehow boring and empty, even after the “caves and cliffs” there was nothing special to see there. Unique caves with unique content and loot are awesome.

I love how not only is there so much, but all of it has a use. Every single mob either does something, or drops something useful, and they all interact with each other. An amazing mod

this is a common misconseption, the caves can be located with the locate command for example /locate alexscaves:magnetic_cave . people tend to think that you cannot do it becouse the first commands that show up are /locate #alexscaves:(something) which does not sow the actual bimes but rather special conditions

Quick correction, you can /locate the biomes, running the command '/locate biome alexscaves:magnetic_caves' ect.

Alex’s mobs and this mod are perfect for balancing each other and have a minecraft charm to them matching the art style of the main game

Terminator, Ice Age 3, Oppenheimer, Subnautica, and A Quiet Place all in one mod. Perfection

The Forlorn Hollows seem to have taken heavy inspiration from the Fallout franchise. The molerats of fallout function very similarly to the corrodents, the under-zealots look just like mole miners and the forsaken are similar to the scorchbeasts both in appearance and attacks. I'm definitely downloading this awesome mod :D
