The dealership worked on my Durango which had a menu item called power steering default and you could choose three levels of power steering. When I got it back that menu item was missing and the steering was stuck in a stiff sport mode. Dealer says they can't find anything to bring it back. Any suggestions for me to tell the dealer?

2017 hellcat rf hub, invalid current vin but original vin is correct to the car and im not sure what happened during the initial programming..Vehicle configuration restore doesn't touch the rf hub at all ,not even reprogramming it with the same part number with witech will update the current vin which is simply labeled "invalid vin" ...only fix I see is replacing the rf hub again with a new one and reprogramming the new one again.

What would I need to do if the VIN doesn’t show as the original or written? It’s doing that for my BCM and ABS modules and I think it’s causing a no crank no start. Also do you know what the secret bytes are?
  • Hello I have a chrysler 300c 5.7 2006 had a problem Stan with my pcm so I went to work shop that changed my pcm with a used one then discovered a check engine sign with cod P0499 which wasn't there before & tcm miss communication then they changed the tcm because it was been affected by another used one 😢 My question now if I ordered a preprogrammed PCM & TCM would fix this mess they done or not & if my have affected any modules other then the PCM & TCM Thanks for your time 🙏

I used the alfaobd program and accidentally activated the “elv replaced” function, now the car won’t start and is looking for the elv module, which the Chrysler Town Country 2011 doesn’t seem to have. Is it possible to register tpm again when there is no module?

Great video Auto Tech to Go! Currently working on a 2012 Dodge Avenger with a 2.4. Used ECU replacement. The donor car is a 2012 Chrysler 200 with the matching ECU part # but mismatched vin. The Witech, with the 3 required subscriptions, seems only to read the vin from the donor (Chrysler) module upon hook up and left me the choice to use and apply it to the Witech vin subscription and did so. Is there a way to manually imput the vin of the Dodge we are working on, or does that happen when you reconfigure or restore in functions such as you mentioned in the video? I certainly hope I don't need to buy another Witech subscription due to the possible error, but I'm prepared to do so if that be the case. Your reply will be met with gratitude, like, and subscribe, sir. All the best, J.P
  • I have Jeep Wrangler with HEMI 392 swap, I am second owner, no original PCM. I have blown my TIPM. I have a new, unused TIPM and purchased a PCM programmed to my VIN. What is best way to proceed now? Do I need to perform a restore? Can I even with my setup? thanks
