Watch my 3D shopping mall being tested for 10 different sized earthquakes! This project took me about 100 hours of work AND... it might become the most watched comparison video on YouTube! :)

Happy Holidays to everyone! I made a promise to you that together we will bring our simulation channel to 1 MIL subs. It is not just me creating all this - you are part of it too! Your ideas and recommendations gave me so much food for thought. I'm truly grateful!
------------------------
The BEST thing you can do for me is to watch this video for as long as possible without skipping ahead. This will make YouTube recommend this video to more people. Let's spread more earthquake awareness around the world, together! :)
------------------------------
I hope these simulations will educate the general public about potential earthquake related hazards. I do also hope that my videos will inspire a future generation of amazing architects, engineers and scientists! We all need to peacefully work together to make this world a better place.

Welcome to the world’s largest and only 3D earthquake simulation channel on YouTube! My channel focuses on realistic 3D earthquake simulations of a variety of virtual structures and types of buildings from around the world. Some of my work has been featured by various international media news outlets and it has also been used by other large YouTube channels such as GeologyHub, GeoPop and CaSeismograph for educational purposes. This channel’s content has also been featured on the Curiosity Channel in a recent documentary called “Breakthrough: Forecasting the Big One”.

The simulations that I post serve an educational purpose and should be solely treated as such. We should not forget that earthquakes are real world events that can sometimes lead to loss of properties and lives.

3:39 I can say that an earthquake with an intensity of 7 will feel like the ground is moving up + down and left + right which will definitely make it difficult for you to move (because if you force it to move, you will just be knocked to the ground again) If you ask how I know this fact, it is because I am a survivor of an earthquake with an intensity of 7.4 that occurred in the city of Palu in 2018

Got it 💡Hide under a Christmas tree when there’s an earthquake😂
  • Thank you, your videos are getting better and closer to reality, very good progress! As a resident of an area where strong earthquakes occur frequently, I can say that a shopping center is the worst place where an earthquake overtakes you. Because there is an enormous number of falling objects, shelves and goods, signs and advertising, also a lot of glass, and crowds of panicking people are added to everything. So even if the building does not collapse, there is a very high probability that you and many other people will be very seriously injured.

I was there in San Francisco in July of 89 my first time visiting The City. It was hard to imagine anything happening to the most beautiful and breathtaking area in the entire country! I went back East for my sophomore year in undergraduate school and a girl I dated at the time ran into the college library were I was working and told me about the quake from watching the World Series! I couldn’t reach my friend who lived in Sacramento for like 2 weeks! Many mixed emotions as I watch this video and the profound sadness I felt about that marvelous city! But also encouraged by the bravery shown by all citizens to help out! God bless San Francisco!

Wow just wow this is my favorite earthquake simulation I love this🤩. Thank you for your time and effort for you to make this video🤗.

I was in Anchorage Alaska with my family during Christmas break and I remember a Tsunami 🌊 alert issued for Alaska from the Aleutian Islands to Anchorage from the 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake. Luckily the Tsunami alert was canceled! My dad was in the Air Force and survived the Great Alaskan Earthquake of 1964. 4 years before I was born!

EQS really decided to shake things up this time! Love the little bonus footage haha. Merry Christmas to you!

I feel like the safest place to stand is at the trunk of the christmas tree! Hug the trunk and hang on.... well until 12 and the indestructible mall zooms away. Great vid!
  • @doctorlettuce
This was really good! Also, you must be a good architect, because these buildings stay up for almost every quake!
  • WOW really cool video! I liked the small details like the lights flickering when the building was shaking Keep Up the good work And merry Christmas 🎄 :)

Dr. Steven Brattesani a native San Franciscan, dentist, said when the 89 quake hit, he was working and immediately ran into the street, and the street asphalt and concrete was like a magic carpet being flipped with a non stop rolling motion. He had never seen asphalt and concrete do that before.

Here's a video idea: A real-time simulation of how a magnitude, say, 11 earthquake would affect northern cities if it originated at the exact north pole
  • @Alphadan
Nice job! I have a question, what variables do you consider to make the lights go on and off at a certain intensity ?

Bro Your videos are great, spectacular, your animations are great, I hope you meet your goals, your purposes in the future, don't give up, I trust you.
