Just so you know, usually the saw canât cut through flesh. When I had my cast removed they didnât put a thing between the saw and my skin, it only tickled. Also after using the saw they use scissors to cut it open further Edit: typo

I had this done on a fractured kneecap once upon a time. The blade vibrates it doesn't spin. I've never been so still in my life during those seconds I thought a circular saw was millimetres from my skin!
