This video is testing footage of a single level in a campaign game, namely the Spectre ship, which was originally the Ghost. This ship is more in line with the rest of the normal ships in terms of challenge and balance. Its early in the campaign, so its the smallest possible ship, while the largest regular ships may have 24 systems in them.
The mod overhauls most of the game in significant ways, adding new weapons, reworking every ship, adding more ammo, more enemies and more firepower. I'm hoping to release it on ModDB eventually, with the name Super Cryptark: Armageddon.
