  • yes, tracer is the most difficult to use, but if you know how to use her well, it is one of the most satisfying and strong characters to use

People who think Winston is easy are the same people who think widow was balanced just because she required (only) mechanical skill
  • Nice to see both my mains at 1 & 2. Although for me personally, I find genji to probably be the hardest character in the game. I just can't hit a thing with his shurikans and I lose track of everything when blading.

Me: mechanical skill of a rubber duck Also me: i should definitely main ana, let's see how that goes
  • I love playing Ball so much It's just not only the situations you have to overcome, but you still learn new things about the maps.
  • Thank you for the video, coach! How about a video on heroes that seem easy but are harder than they look? Or vice versa, they look hard but they're rather simple if you follow some basics?

Tracer is the character that got me interested in Overwatch to begin with, my most played by far, and the one I almost always have fun playing as. I am nowhere near mastering her infinite skill ceiling 😂 My personal top 5 would be 1:Echo 2:Ana 3:Tracer 4:Ball 5:Doomfist But I don’t regret being a Tracer main in the slightest
  • I think that echo needs to be higher cause you have to be good and every other character to get something out of her ult

The craziest part about getting good at characters is that some come very naturally to you and others don't at all. I don't play a lot of tank anymore but when I did, Winston was easy for me to pick up and keep pace with friends in masters/gm. On the other hand, characters like ana, Sombra, and a few others were really difficult to learn to play even half decently.
  • I think Bap is a sleeper pick for somewhere on the lower end (i.e. around the 10th spot) because of how insanely high his APM and mechanical ceiling can be. Anyone can shoot shoot heal a tank with your team in front of you. But in a chaotic fight where you have to flick around it gets pretty tricky. Not to mention if on top of this you're hitting headshots and direct nades it becomes even harder. I would say Bap is forgiving to learn because you still have great value without being optimal. You can hit ground nades and body shots with suboptimal rhythm and still win many fights. And you don't get punished for mistakes as easily. But mastering his mechanics to have the optimal value is insanely hard...and rightfully so because if he was always doing 150 headshot damage per primary fire burst and hitting directs on every heal he would be the most broken support in the game.

Ngl for some reason I expected you to say "And the number one most difficult to master is yourself" or some shit lmao
  • @Koriiii
Idk how you could ever place Ana and Kiriko above the skill of Dva, Ball and Genji. To me I was easily able to climb because most of their skills carry over with other heroes whereas Dva, Ball and Genji almost have very little transferability in their role.
  • I'm surprised Genji was as high as 6 and higher than Echo. Once you have the muscle memory to do a 180 and have any experience on projectile = you mastered Genji. Echo actually has movement tech and invulerability frames on ult that you can use to avoid cooldowns.

I thought they used to have difficulty ratings on each character but now I can’t find it
  • As someone who recently picked up tracer but am in high bronze low silver (never started playing until a few months ago) I can confirm she is the hardest character I’ve ever tried to play

So i want an explanation, last week i played a lit of ranked at 5-5 and worse i of course derank but at 5-3 and 5-4 i stay. Didn't have any better runs so far, i carry lobbies in SILVER, i am being reported for smurfing that i am not doing. It just feel imposible to climb no matter what i do, my friend that im playing with got plat on all roles despite having same stats as me, at 5-5 and 5-4 he usually stays and on higher he ranks up.
  • @Maxarcc
I'm a support main and I always thought baptiste is incredibly difficult to master. To justify the pick on masters and above you need to constantly weave damage and healing. But you also have to stand on angles for big healing splashes, and your weapon has immediate recoil. For whatever reason he has always been super difficult for me to justify over picking ana or kiriko.

I find it funny how my mains are Lucio and genji from the beginning without realizing how hard they are.
  • @tomnilan7318
lot of people dont understand how hard ball is, just google a all ball tech video, theres like 25 mechanics and jump types
