Welp I guess we know what happens when Sun tries to change without Moon's AI in there... A big ol problem named Eclipse.

My theory is that Sun and Moon were originally built for the Theater. Sun was the Comedy, and Moon was the Tragedy, though they were repurposed, and slightly reprogrammed, for the daycare. Sun entertained the kids during the day, and Moon took care of and protected the kids during the night, until Vanny hacked and cranked you both up to 11, making sun louder and more easily excitable, and a bit more strict too, though moon’s change in personality was much more noticeable. Obviously, by now you two were seperated into different bodies, and Vanny’s hack was removed (hopefully), but judging from some of the things Moon has said in some of these videos, he is still a little bit affected

But also programmed with a stern tone for rule breakers Both were never meant to harm Until Afton had Vanny reprogram them While Sunrise could not be overwritten Moondrop had his matrices cranked to 11 And his safety protocols completely deactivated This lead to the Moondrop we know from the game Fortunately and unfortunately at the same time The separation seems to have split the tampered code as well

Both of your bodies were most likely infused with remnant at some point, causing you two to be aware. The children had often stayed up too late, so they created Moon to help the children sleep, but he ended up giving them nightmares, as the in-game message, Night Terrors, states, “My son never had sleeping problems. But after spending an evening in the daycare, he refuses to sleep with the lights out anymore! He just cries and cries. And then when I do keep the lights on, he wets the bed!” So yes, Sun is the perfect candidate for a daycare attendant; Playful, Cheerful. But, in the end, when the light goes out, the perfect daycare attendant turns into the creepy, strange, bloodthirsty for children past their bedtime animatronic, Moon. And their children guests don’t end up getting a good-night sleep, and most likely have nightmares for the majority of their lives after that. This is only for what you see in game, not for the whole separation and stuff.

4:54 Honestly I knew I probably wouldn't be able to watch this video when I saw this, It just brought up so many unwanted similar memories. But hearing them discourage it was honestly so comforting.

ALRIGHT- heres what i think: Sun & moon were built to be one animatronic with an AI when the lights were on yet when the lights were off they'd switch. Sundrop being the animatronic when the lights were on, was very playful happy and from my experience loves glitter glue. Yet Moondrop being the animatronic when the lights were off was very calming & gentle. Sun handled the kids during the day, but when kids stayed the night moon would put them to bed..... and yes they wake up in the morning >:( though they both... did not enjoy rulebreakers much... Moon would punish them, and sun would literally BAN them ( as seen with gregory...). everything was doing fine untill a man named William Afton had a new... worker. Although the pizzaplex had no idea about this or that the 'worker' was their very own security guard Vannessa or Vanny. Vanny hacked the glamrocks and Moondrop to bring her any child sneaking around the pizzaplex past closing so Vanny could kill them for afton to come back. Sun did not know untill it had been to late but before hand Moon would faze in and out yet, he tried to overpower the corruption, though, sadly, he still became corrupted. Yet Moon had already hurt and attacked a child. This lead to the closing of the daycare for a very long time... nobody came to fix Moon, and Sun was.... well, he couldn't handle being without children so Sun started cleaning everything and became what I'd call 'insane' (not really though). Although, one day Sun couldn't take it any longer and was crying in his & Moons room when he heard someone go down the entrance slide. It was the first child Sun had seen in what felt like years. It was gregory. Sun couldn't let Moon hurt this child, so a new rule was made. Keep. The lights. ON. Welp thats all I have for now ( might add more later?) but tbh out of everything FNaF Sun & Moon are my favorite yet it makes me sad that they are so underated....
