Read a few posts from your AU and I think it's unique Duck being a homeless person who was turned into a puppet or put inside of a puppet makes sense with the whole "I don't need a family" since David thought the man wouldn't be missed (which explains why Duck might not think he needs a family even if the AU alters a lot of things) And red being someone who worked backstage fits with his position being covered in plugs as well as literally being out of sight shows he really didn't like the spotlight (and a reference to the original series) All in all, you made a great AU, keep up the good work!
