  • I am a 34 year old virgin woman that's born and raised in Houston, TX. I haven't missed out on anything except bad health, heartache, and pain.... Hallelujah!!!!
  • I am very close to 70 years old. I have not had any sexual encounters in many many years. I don't trust most of the men I have met. I have met so many women who paid the ultimate consequence from a lying cheat. Of course it goes both ways because there are women who will do that to men also. I find it safer to just be alone and focus on my grandchildren.

I've been celibate for 7 years now..I don't even get the urge to have sex anymore because I KNOW how trifling people are. I do not miss it AT ALL.

Something is seriously wrong with us as a collective. And things are only going to get worse.

Walter, think twice before buying a condo. I’m sure you don’t want to be under the rulership of a HOA (Condo Board). I just heard of a recent case where a female condo owner lost her lawsuit against the HOA who had fined her $100 per day because she refused to remove her camera doorbell. She lived alone and had been a victim of a violent crime. Now she has to pay the HOA $73,000.

I’ve patiently waited for you to address Houston-lanta.

I'm a Gen Xer. When I was a teen, back in the 90s. Pop culture, in the news, movies, and talk show it was drilled in our heads about safe sex. CONDOMS, CONDOMS, CONDOMS. I think there were even public service announcements? What happened? Greed? Ignorance?
  • I feel like more straight individuals need to be more informed about prep, it’s like it’s not understood it’s not just for the gay community. Everyone needs to understand trust no one and take care of yourself, and it’s perfectly ok, nothing to be ashamed of, you should be ashamed if you’re not. Working in healthcare, I remember hearing people not wanting to take their meds because it affected their libido….even their transplant meds, well you know how that went. Over all thought is that’s why I roll solo dollo because I’ve seen people’s thought process first hand. Don’t leave it up to someone else to care about your life, if they don’t care about their own. Some people know their status and don’t care.

You alright sweetheart I'm 76 I don't date too many men out here my age have HIV I run like hell my husband been dead for years I do not date I do not go out I stay home and I leave these men alone I stay off to myself everything you say you are so right may your day be beautiful sweetheart you are so right❤
  • I lost count of the women who contracted a disease (HIV or STIs) from their husbands, fiancé or long term boyfriends. The wives found out from their annual exams, symptoms or from gossip about their partners cheating. Maybe one or two husbands told their wives. It just disappointing and dangerous!☹️☹️☹️

With regards to prep, its just as what the doctor said. Medical professionals do try to pigeon hole you depending on your sex, age, relationship status etc. Prep is exclusively targeted to gay/bi men.

PRep, although a good drug for preventing spread of HIV, is also causing other STDs rates to increase because no one is having protected sex.

Walter I applaud you for your honesty with yourself, your self love and ability to be responsible for your own life. THAT makes all the difference in the world. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

We spend a lot of time focusing on STDs,STIs, and HIV. Meanwhile, millions of people die every year from heart disease and cancer. Yes, we can talk about it all at the same time, but people seem to take STDs,STIs, and HIV a lot more serious.
  • @lolitabee2004
Thank you for this information Walter! I did not know that PREP was for everyone despite their age group and that doxycycline can immediately treat certain STD’s when taken immediately after a sexual encounter. Thanks again!

I'm 26. Never entertained the idea of getting active especially in Atlanta.
  • I’m in the gym right now, taking care of myself. So happy I don’t have to worry about this. Praying for all the people nutting up out there.
