Reminds me of my brother, who was an absolutely huge fan of this game. I used to watch him play it all the time and I'd always stick around for the music in the game. I miss ya, man.

i use to leave my 3Ds open at night with my headphones on and just listen to this. but now i have a phone so i use it now. poor 3ds got me through my teenage years now just sits on my desk.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days is the same usual song but now with the instruments that use to be in the background this time being on the foreground and vice versa. This is pure genius from the composer as this particular game tells the story of Roxas which is the other side of Sora's heart

Kingdom Hearts 2 version is what I’m walking home down the aisle to when I get married next year. It just hits different.

KH1 version of this song isn't out of this world, but the sound of those waves really hits me in the nostalgia...

The only word I can think to describe Dearly Beloved is just Bittersweet.. Something or someone has made you so happy yet.. there's a feeling of emptiness. A feeling that snakes its way into your soul and ensnares your heart.

A story of a boy who ventures to worlds never seen before, A story of the same boy who loses his memories, A story of two people, one without friends, another without the people before the adventure, A story of a trio in which it turns tragic, A story where an unbreakable bond lives throughout the past, A story where the past is digital, A story where dreams and xiii happens, A story where everyone is on the adventure, A story where a woman ventures through a broken world, a story where the melodies are memories, And now... a story where everyone is back. This is kingdom hearts.

Edit: This is something that I made when I was more childish. But it seems more people are still commenting on my poem. And surprisingly, I need to make clear to the person who says “it’s pretty sad that you learned all this from a game and not your parents,” as well as the person who says “it’s just a game,” that this poem is talking about more than just a game. Kingdom Hearts is not a real place here on Earth, every single one of us understand that clearly. So our “Kingdom Hearts” come from somewhere else. While the game may be magical to many, it’s not where we learn what our lives or, or where they’ll take us. Our “Kingdom” is our special place or person that made us feel truly special. For me, my Kingdom Hearts is my family. They taught me to laugh, to cry, to stand tall and strong, to keep going when everything is holding me down, and revealed to me what’s beyond the door of possibilities. I wouldn’t be here if not for them. They are my family and my kingdom. So that’s what it’s about. Not some game. But the life we live(d) throughout, and what our kingdom means to us. My family and my friends are my everything. You taught me to face my fears. You taught me to resist the darkness. You taught me to fight for those you love. You taught me to fight for all I believe in. You taught me that a smile can go a long way. You taught me that memories were worth making. You taught me that one can be freed from the dark. You taught me to never give up, even when all seems down. You taught me to stand back up again. You taught me to love and protect with everything I have. You taught me love, life, truth, joy, and most importantly, heart. You taught me... A kingdom of unity, hidden but open to all. From which a warrior was born, so that darkness would fall. A key, which holds the secret to peace and liberty. You taught me to be all of who I can be. No power can overcome what is made in the hearts of friends. Let thy power flow true, until darkness may meet their ends. A heart, many hearts revealed before a door, Revealing what life is, that memories shall be made more.
