  • Poland has become the antithesis of “those who forget their past our destined to repeat it.” They will not fail again. Happy to see this
  • Poland really did not forget their suffering from 1939 to the fall of the wall.
  • @GrimnirLaguz28
Living in the Baltics, I am very happy to have a neighbour like Poland. We are all brothers and we will not fall again!
  • Guyana is a tiny, helpless, oil-rich democracy that speaks English, which is being threatened by a socialist dictator in Latin America. I don’t know what on earth Maduro is thinking, because that combination is basically the equivalent of NATO’s Article 5 in terms of convincing America to intervene militarily.

Exact same strategy the Argentinians did. Make propaganda that something belongs to us when it doesn't then start a war to distract the plebeians from the failing/failed state. Argentina has still not recovered from getting clapped 40 years ago.

"an evil man would rather rule over the ashes of his own nation than let someone else rule it" said someone
  • I'm from Poland: in our neighbourhood preparing for the worst case scenario isn't pessimisim, it is common sense. Also, I understand why Simon didn't even try to pronounce "Kosiniak-Kamysz". XD

This is still greatly concerning for us here in Trinidad. Crime rates are already high for a multitude of reasons and the amount of high powered military hardware that is appearing in criminal hands is alarming! I wouldn't doubt that this military buildup is not helping that situation at all since the country already had a near collapse long ago and the amount of (il)legal migrants we've had from the mainland is staggering as is. Needless to say the bad apples have brought their crime and connections with them if it didn't exist already. I sincerely hope that this goes nowhere outside of posturing. Our governments have never had to truly engage with a conflict/war and they are not prepared for it in the current political climate.
  • I've never understood the hate the Maginot Line gets. The Germans were forced to go around it. Where as the Sigfried Line was an abject failure the Americans defeated with a shovel.
