  • YouTube has a really sick sense of humor, recommending this to me today on September 11th.
  • @specimen-
Okay, sick, I’ll keep this in mind next time I need to dispose of a skyscraper
  • @ninthninja05
Literally the worst possible day to recommend this.
  • This is a great recommendation for the 20th anniversary of the 09/11
  • @Jim-be8sj
The B1M is now also "The definitive video channel for deconstruction."
  • @MyJarrus

This was recommended to me on 9/11. The YouTube algorithm really does have sick sense of humor huh?
  • Video: how to dispose of a skyscraper New Yorkers: i’ve seen this one before
  • @donnaezrol4777
WOW, I live across the Hudson River from New York City. It is much better watching the changes to the skyline, with the narrative that you provide!
  • @simon_patterson
B1M said "intentionally demolished skyscrapers" B1M meant "I dare you to mention the World Trade Center buildings in the US"
  • @Ab_A60
Great video, came in handy! Was about to dispose of my skyscraper but didn't know how to. This video cleared up a lot of confusion. Thanks!

This reminds me of a time many years back when a motel bought some land, they built a massive motel and after about 6 years they tore it down for what felt like no reason. The building was frequently used (so customers) and it was in excellent condition, even looked very nice. Than they started to tear the building down, folks where confused but the answer was roughly the same as this. The land it was built on sky rocketed in value due to the oil boom in the area, what was once a relatively small town blew up over a few years and since projects start years prior to the build they bought the land for a decent amount. After building, and using it for a few years they realized it was much more profitable to put the land up for sale and wait till someone bought it for a empty lot alone. Which happened, the area was "modernizing" quickly and that lot just so happened to end up on the main strip with many companies building in close proximity (mostly headquarters, and corporate centers). It was a shame to see such a new and relatively high end building get torn down, they must have spent millions to build it, still wonder what kinda money where they offered ... must have been a lot.
  • I love seeing the growth of this channel. The content keeps getting better but has always been of such high quality. I find myself staying and watching content that I'm not necessarily interested in just because of how well constructed the video is. Bravo.
  • this got recommended to me on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. I love the YouTube algorithm.
  • @richey0995
Buildings I’ve driven past that looked like they were being built, could have been being torn down for all I know
  • great choice of music at the beginning, it give this video whole other perspective
