The flute is shrill and fuzzy, but much better than I would expect from a 30 dollar instrument. Then again, you could probably make anything sound good.

to be honest the cheap flute doesn't sound that bad, and I think most people who don't know much about flute wouldn't notice much difference between the cheap one and your muramatsu one, but like I can hear your struggle while you play edit: I've played flute for 6yrs and I know that it takes a lot to make such a cheap instrument sound so good, my english isn't that good so by saying that the cheap flute doesn't sound that bad, I meant that it doesn't sound as bad as I expected when such a good player as her plays it but I don't expect everyone to play so well with the cheap flute
