OMG you have given me the confidence to use my dent puller. I will invest in the mini one I never knew you could get them that small. Finally I can use my own plastic mallet for the first time! Which is a great idea I would never of though of this. Especially in these economical times great video!!:washhands::washhands:

Pour a couple of kettles of hot water on get panel very hot (metal expands) suction cup pull and put cold water on (metal contracts) dint should be history . I was doubtful when some one advised me to do it but it works a treat wooo

I'll admit that was more funny than informational but I'm good with that!! Thanks!!

I am a grandmother who bought one of those orange pullers yesterday to try my hand at getting a large pushed in area out of my truck back bed panel. Had watched a few videos like this first, and was able to pull 50% out with the first pull. (I am not at all strong) Worked another 20 minutes and got most of the rest of it except an area that has a crease in it as in this case. The truck is a beater, so I am not going to worry about it, but I am happy with what it did and I certainly got my $4 worth.

Wow, they do work! I have to do my car too! A heat gun would have worked well. And alternate between heating and dry ice behind some foil. The hot and cold works well to pop out small dents. I would have take out the door panel and pushed that out with my hand or a rubber mallet. They also have rawhide mallets for jewelry that are gentle. Thanks for a great demo!
  • Your video's are so informational and fun to watch. Keep up the great work.

I used a toilet plunger to pull a dent on my '64 El Camino years ago. Worked fine, lol.
  • @larrymoore6640
The quickest way would have been pulling the door panel and hitting it from the inside. The cold metal sure didn't help in removing the creases. Nice job having a lot of fun with a friend.

Try using a hair dryer set on Hot on the dent, when you're pulling. It really helps.
  • We purchased that same suction pad from Harbor Freight in the Bronx NY to address a pointless dent at rear driverside panel right near the bumper cover. It did a good job on the area furthess from the bumper cover, but we have the same issue with a crease that we now believe that a smaller suction pad will work. Thanks for your suggestion on releasing the pressure on the creases as well.

Thanks for testing this! I was in the parking lot of the grocery store and damn if the wind didn't push a shopping cart into the door of my van and dent the hell out of it. But I think I can get it out with this with a little perseverance and a measly $5.

If you're gonna go from the outside, I like that you took the trim off. Good effort guys !
  • First time watching your videos and man that intro has me hooked “no beavers were harmed in the making of this video” the sound just put the whole thing together. Plus it helps that I’m a sucker for dad jokes. -^.^-
  • @LinkMassing
I value seeing people enjoying themselves while accomplishing something. By chance, have you both known each other since you were kids? Thanks for the video.
