  • cool, now do Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Snapchat, etc. etc.
  • Can we sue other companies for violating our privacy and selling our info
  • I think this is the least we should be worried about with social media today. I can keep my kids off of TikTok, but can’t stop the censorship and political biases of their agenda.

It’s only fine when you pay us. Then you can collect all the data you want like Facebook and Google.

Suing a Chinese company? Yeah, really productive. I'm sure they wont' make this difficult.

I watched a documentry on foreign companies in China from that perspective US is extremely friendly vs what companies have to endure to play in China. Granted we are a Republic and not a Communist country but still not a fair playing field in my opinion.

They need to sue YouTube also for discrimination and political censorship.

How does a social media company verify if a user is a minor under 13? It is technically extremely difficult, if not impossible. The best way is for parents to enter a minor's birthday into the phone, and for the app stores to categorize apps that require parental consent. This way, the law can be enforced uniformly, and social media companies are not required to develop a difficult solution individually.

No words in this idiocy! Shouldn't we be very embarrassed on this stupid little acts that are shredding the smidgen amount of dignity that is left as Americans?
