Best way to Hike to the top of Mulhacen: Tallest Mountain on Mainland Spain (17/50)

It's a 26 km out and back trail with many starting points as options and ways to do it, either one or two days, winter or summer. Some people say it's boring, but I say (now) it's all about how you approach it. We did this at the end of November, and it was the first time my partner had been at this altitude and the first time I had gone this high on the project to climb the highest peak in every European country. Ah. I live just outside Lanjaron below Mulhacen. Glad you enjoyed it here, and yes once the tree line finishes it is a bit like mars ha ha. I'm off up there in August. It's a good way to eacape the heat here at the low level of 1000m😂. I'll be going up from Trevelez. I can catch the bus from here, that way i can leave my car at home, do the summit and then walk the three days back down to home. Thanks for sharing, subbed and will watch some more soon.

Happy birthday JP! Hope you had a great day climing that pile of rock😁😎. You looked kinda rough there for a while 😬😆? Maby it has something to do with getting old😂🤣. As always I really enjoyed watching this video of your struggles reaching the top. I am however a little concerned about some of the higher peaks in this project though. Can't you find a grassy hill in a flat country somewhere like you did in Denmark?? It would be so much better för my heart 😂😜. (And another thing I missed in this video... food! Oh, i got altitude sickness just on 1500m when driving from the Mediterranean to some in my opinion high mountain village. I was feeling motion sick and dizzy. Cant even imagine how 3000m+ feels. Although i guess hiking is in a different tempo than driving.
