To the people confused about the October 26 thing, just know that if your A account (main account) is linked to your EA and you make a B account under the same EA ID after October 26, you will still be able to merge the stuff from the A account to the B account BUT you don't keep anything you gained from the B account from its time of creation after October 26.

It’s good to see the devs finally releasing a so waited feature, however, my only issue with it, is that it’s still in fact not really here, and I have waited long enough to don’t care anymore about the game, after all it just took them the time it took me to graduate from high school quit the game when I graduated and almost finish university… sorry for the burn out I just needed to externalize my thoughts about it.
  • @bruuuuuhhhhhhh
This genuinely helped me to understand why i wasn't getting the message for cross progression, thanks guy
  • @thethak
Update: Respawn have confirmed that it will be phased over the coming weeks. So if you still haven't had the message notification and can't see cross progression on your accounts, give it some time and keep a look out.
  • @BillDear
Thank you for explaining this I didn't really understand it. :)
  • @Gemini_7531
ok thanks for the clarification and explanation of the whole thing just gotta wait till it rolls out to me
  • @arod2394
Exactly that’s why every shards I got I got a different heirloom I didn’t already have on my original account
  • @rimuruh010
broooo thank u soo much i was searching for cp and i saw ppl talking bout link and unlink now i gotta wait again thank u and here's a sub
  • @wave4778
do the packs you open to get closer to an heirloom merge on both accounts? Or does it take the progress from higher level account? I hope it just doesn’t reset cause I know I’m very close to getting one on my console account
  • @CaptShitacular
What if you had the two accounts for a while (PS & PC), but changed the email address to put both accounts under the same EA account?
  • @justinmoore3669
So cross progression means you can use the same account on xbox and pc with stats counting for both? Just want a clarification
  • @Evilsagat
So It has to be the same email for the two platforms your trying to merge or It wont work? My main platform on pc is under a different EA account than my original Xbox EA account, so It seems like for people like me that have differing EA accounts across different platforms are screwed?
