Ok Gopher. 9 years later I just legit learned that SkyUI has a location search function on the map thanks to you. Hat's off.

I'm not used to Gopher speaking in All Caps for so long...

"immersive hud... a mod that i needed so much that i made it" - gopher
  • @MuraCasardis
I completely forgot what non-SkyUi looked like. Holy crap.
  • @yarchieduke
Nearly a decade later we are all still playing Skyrim and waiting for the next Elder Scrolls.
  • @Echowhiskeyone
I never thought of hiding the HUD, until you made iHUD those many years ago. Now I cannot live without it. You've corrupted me. As if that was hard to do.
  • @rad666a
Let's face it Gopher, at this point it's pretty obvious that you'll be playing one version or another of Skyrim until TES6 comes out.
  • @jerseyjunior
Thank you Gopher! You got me into modding this game five years ago and its great to see you back, full of enthusiasm and blowing the dust off this mod sanctuary! Cant wait for more!
  • @CDanteModding
now that's something - having one of my creations on Gopher's Top 5 most essential mods for Skyrim. wow! thank you!
  • @noldocelu3326
Top mods are those that keeps the game playable. It's very sensible, I absolutely agree that these should take precedence.

Today is 7 February 2021 and I am downloading Skyrim once again. I was on the fence until I started watching Gopher's videos again. This game is a drug.

"It's not on my must-have list because I made it, I made it because it's on my must-have list." That is an attitude that needs to be permeated through society. Don't just do a thing and then make other people think it's necessary because you went through the effort of making it. Make the thing that is already necessary. Admittedly, that's already how a lot of business works, but there are still a bunch of awful products that go the other way and prey on fools.

I'm actually glad you are going over the basic stuff again in 2020, much of the information out there at this stage is years out of date, and there's also a bit of a lack of solid basics stuff for SSE as most of it is for the original game. Bravo. More of this, please.

Gonna be kinda peeved if Gopher isn’t a voice actor in Skywind.
  • @MichaelACurtis
Exactly! All of these are in my "Essentials" mod profile I use as a base for every play through I do.
  • @dstr001
Also, only Gopher could have an top 5 mod list that you really do NEED lol
  • @InfamousTaters
