Fretted ABG with "mwah" bridge

I have been wanting to de-fret my Acoustic bass guitar. As an experiment, I made a wooden bridge that angles slightly away from the strings so the fretless "mwah" sound comes at the bridge end of the strings instead of at the fingerboard. I still think I should de-fret but thought this was interesting.

    Hey, I love the sound your mod is getting. I have been going crazy trying to come up with a way to get a mwah sound out of a fretted bass. Can you tell me more about your bridge/bass? What kind of bass are you using exactly? Again, love your tone, thanks for uploading.
