We flew from Bangkok to Colombo and drove straight down to Galle, an old Dutch fort city in the south. This is where our driver and newfound friend Sameer, who ended up taking us around Sri Lanka for a week, was from. It was super cool to get a tour around the town and its surroundings from a local.

Sri Lanka is one of my favourite countries. The people are charming and the food delicious. You should have stayed at the Mount Lavinia hotel south of Colombo. It is the former residence of the British Governor. I hope you have a video of Kandy and the interior of the island.

The best ATMs that I like are the ones where the card sits on the outside and the card doesn't go inside the machine so you can't lose it . This video has taught me a lesson , only go to ATMs that are attached to a bank and only use them during bank hours so if anything goes wrong you can get the card back .
