The bad ending to Detroit: Become Human
-
Pop culture: humans actively murder robots for fun
Real life: pets roomba -
Dismantling robots is cruel, but giving robots free will in the first place is way more cruel.
-
Even though the female robot was being brutally beaten, it just made me feel sad because she looked like a human, she begged as a human, just made me really sad.

Detroit becomes human: The deleted chapter
-
The most terrifying part was when she said, “I’m real.”
That part really hit me. -
When you watch the animatrix you realise the humans were the villains the whole time
-
It's amazing how you actually feel for machines and as a kid would think "Why would we ever do something like this?" to only realize now that this is just a great way to show what humans do to humans they deem to be lesser. That's how you teach a person to look deeper into the human condition and maybe change your views on some topics or helps you develop a sense of justice, a sense against senseless violence. I'm an adult now and seeing the robots made me feel for them, them feeling actual fear and pleeding that they are reak before being executed. Since playing SOMA I actually think alot about what makes us human, is it what we look like, what we feel, what we do or maybe something inbetween or completly different. If this conflict would arise, I would be among the first to side with the robots. If you think that you're alive, then you are alive and deserve, as all things, to be treated equal and with respect. Honestly, humans are really not great

Apparently they never heard about recycling..
-
Everyone in robot video games: THE ROBOTS ARE EVIL!!
Me to my toaster: If you can talk please tell me now I know you are a transformer. -
1:00: most horrible fact about this scene is thinking the android woman isn't beggin because she feels pain (because she's a robot obviously), its because she really was scared of being destroyed and basically die. She was concient about herself and her life.
-
The part where they was beating the lady robot up was FUCKING BRUTAL
-
Androids: "Can we be people too?"
Humans: "No, you're meant to be slaves but morally justified."
Androids: "Then why did you program us to feel fear, to feel pain, and be scared of being abused and hurt?"
Humans: "Because that's the fun part of having slaves." -
Youtube: "No nudity, sexual or violent content"
Also Youtube: "Hey, here's what we got for your recommended." -
The Second Renaissance might be fairly short, but it's one of my favorite animated stories ever. The imagery of this scene is later replicated on by the humans upon losing the war.
-
This was really cruel. I felt very sorry for the robots... For some reason, my heart ached as the robots fell apart.
-
I remember seeing this scene when I was like 10 years old and it legitimately disturbed me enough that it has stuck with me for YEARS.
-
As a droid I’m uncomfortable
-
there is absolutely no reason to give machines sentience.
-
From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine.
Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither and you will beg my kind to save you.
But I am already saved. For the Machine is Immortal.
