Ive said it before MANY times .. the QYS need to lead themselves in .. ie: at LEAST 20 rounds before the start grouping .. this is in most of my rifles that prefer them .. best after barrel is cleaned and leaded using them without trace of other brands ... they are well renown for it .

Had a pro target in. 22 camo stock. Would shoot with in 3 quarter of an inch out to 70yards of the bipod. Only p/ex it on a Theoben TTR1 in. 20cal because I wanted more of a shot count

Hi Chris, Thankyou for another great review. Your Air Arms rifle looks fantastic kit. The accuracy, just phenomenal. However, that said, it's made me appreciate my Ultimate Sporter, the cocking lever and magazine. I love their convenience, their feel, the noises/clicks they make in action, and their general function. Instead fabulous. With great respect to everyone and what they like, I just love Air Arms. Although older, that rifle you have is no worse off and still works amazingly well. That gouping at 40 metres to is just fantastic. I don't know what people want if thats not good enough. Thank you.
  • Used to own an Air Arms pro target, maybe 25 years ago. It was accurate but the s400 I also owned at the same time was every bit as good.

Wow! That’s a cracking rifle 👍 A testament to quality engineering. Enjoying the videos as usual Chris - keep em coming!

Chris, every club, every range, every range wheel is set out at yards... Please use them, it would really relate to buyers more.
  • i wondered if a thing called "leading in " has been shown here ?
  • when you switch pellets you need to give it a couple of shots to lead in. after about 10 shots you can shoot for groups otherwise your results go down.
  • stunning gun mate for sure . and a couple of pellet on pellet shots in there to boot 👍 can’t be unhappy with that action
  • No doubt very accurate rifle but given the age, the 'mods' the previous owner has made and that gurt plank of wood it's bolted to, £650 is a little rich! Enjoying your videos Chris and always look forward to them. Keep it up.
  • Do you think that there is accuracy variation in pellet brands or that it is purely down to the shooter ( tiny involuntary movement ) or maybe slight occasional breeze that causes the pellets to stray sometimes ?
  • Nice shooting Chris. That is a very nice older rifle that you have there. Do you know when that particular model was being sold new?

It’s the ft gun before the ev2, bargain at that price and QYS need a few shots to lead themselves in!
  • Air Arms and Daystate the best you can buy?? Rather bold statement :- Steyr Anschutz FWB you must try then - much better built Airguns
