The Stranglers were at their best back in the mid to late 70s and early 80s , a great band for their time
  • All day and all of the night the drummer shines as well in the song ,him and the singer are high in this.

Always liked them, they were so different from all punk bands with their organ based sound, then later evolved to a pop band with really great songs like Golden Brown.

Excellent, always loved them but never seen any interviews or background. I knew they must be very inventive and talented.

I met Hugh briefly after a solo gig, he was approachable and friendly - but keen to know how England was doing in the test cricket - probably over 20 years ago now. Saw him perform in Brighton recently, he's still well worth the money and effort.

I loved the original lineup but lost interest when Hugh left

Stranglers died in 1990 when Hugh left , that’s why they were never heared of on telly or radio since then, but then again everything arty Hugh did was fucking rubbish like that facts and figures ?? Why don’t interviewers tell them it’s shit 💩???

That was really shit. Embarrassing and cringe worthy. Im a huge stranglers fan, great band, love them to bits. The First Ten years and the last Ten years works best or me. Still a good band.
