Who do you like better: Tighnari or Collei?

I highly recommend reading the Genshin Impact manga at some point, the story takes place years before the start of the game. Collei is a pivotal character there.

fun game idea for anyone who is waiting for Sumeru: pin a random spot on the map where Sumeru is going to be (do it now while that part is still invisible) and then see where the pin takes you as soon as Sumeru is out and make it your own personal spot if it's cool :D I tried it last year with Inazuma but unfortunetely landed in the middle of the ocean lmao

Collei actually has a very dark and sad backstory. She was brought from monstadt to Sumeru by the knights of favonimus and was taken in by Tighnari as a student. You should check out the official genshin impact manga If you want to know more about her bevor she’s up for the next banner in version 3.0 on two days. :)

You can get Collei for free in the event, for this event you can play it without having to do Inazuma or the story quests from Sumeru, although it may ruin some of the expierence you would have a Collei that you can try to level up at your own pace

All new characters will be available to pull from their individual banners when they're released. Tighnari's will be available to you when the 3.0 update drops in less than two days from time of posting. Collei is a 4 star, which means she will not be featured on her own banner, but as part of the Banner line-up. A Banner Line-up consists of a featured 5 star and three 4 star characters who will all enjoy a boosted pull rate, making it much more likely to pull one of them. So you'll pull Collei much more likely than pulling Bennett from this banner.

Bandit, Collei will be on Zhongli's banner in 3.0, theres a possibility that you'll get her while wishing for Zhongli

every time a character says "you two" they refer to the traveler and Paimon

Tighnari is a Fennec fox, so the comparison you made with the ears is on track. Sucrose is also a fox, but she's related to foxes from a place called the Dandelion Sea which no one actually knows about While we're on the topic of fox characters, Yae Miko is also also a fox, but she's a Japanese Kitsune

in manga almost like a year or so now. collei was little and sick when she went to monstadt. amber helped to cure her. now people are hype when they saw collei is grown up and healthy. she even got her vision. how cool is that?

some correction on the name pronunciation for Tighnari: the "i" isn't supposed to be pronounced like "ai" but more of a soft "u" like in the word "tug"!! so the pronunciation would be "t-ug-(soft K)-na-ri" edit: yah somehow the wrong pronunciation made it through multiple checks and made it to the final product ><, the pronunciation I noted above is the correct way that arabic speakers pronounce it

Loving all the new characters! Green haired characters I call them “Veggie people.” Because they remind me vegetables or grass.

You have to unlock inazuma before unlocking sumeru

Not sure if you'll be able to get to Sumeru or not. I would expect the archon quests will be locked, but we may be able to just walk there. We'll find out in a couple days!

Lore wise, Collei is my favorite character in Genshin :D and I'm so happy she's comming to the game now. Play style and design wise I don't have a favorite character. They're all just too good!

You can always pull on banners for characters from areas you haven't been to yet. It just may be a bit harder to level them up as much as other characters due to their ascension materials not being available jot you just yet.

You can get them already, but probably won't be able to go past level 40 with them anytime soon.
