Buddy, you never cease to make me laugh, and your content is fantastic! When you torched your line it definitely hit my funny bone. I couldn’t stop laughing! Thanks for the hacks.

Crankbait: "Hey big man, let me hold a dollar.....and a quarter." Great video as always!
  • Here's one for free since you give out so much great info. To straighten line out get a small patch of leather. With the leather in between your fingers with the rough side in the middle, grip the line with the leather and grip it with a little tension. Pull the fishing line through the leather, as you pull it through the leather it generates heat and straightens your line out. No need for warm water. Thanks for all the info you give us.
  • Awesome perfect timing my son and I just got back He told me to tell you were a big fan of fishing N stuff he’s eight years and you’re our favorite fishing YouTuber

Trying to decide which is greater in your videos: - The entertainment OR - The information... ...either way, your videos are worth watching! God bless ALL of us! WWG1WGA
  • You can use a piece of thin leather to draw your mono thru to relax the memory of the line also just squeeze the line in the leather as you pull line thru it

You're frickin smart, bruv! I love the way you include comedy, acting, etc in your fishing hacks videos. Very smart!

Great video, as usual. The anchor line hack, we use to call a "Daisy Chain". Used it when I was working as a lifeguard at summer camp. My favorite way to straighten fishing line is to use a section of bicycle tube. You can get em for free from the bike shop. Fly fisherman has the same material sandwiched between two pieces of leather to straighten out tippet line.
  • The rope hack is called a "foundation chain" in crochet, minus the slipknot at the beginning. Good idea.

Straightening your line hack works, but there is another one fly fishermen have been using for years. Take a piece of leather (or I've been known to use good quality shammy), fold it over, pinch it around the line, and pull the line through it. The friction heats it up just enough, when combined with the pressure from pulling it, to make it sort of straight, about like yours did. And you don't need hot water! Keep it up!
  • I enjoy these videos very much. You give me many ideas to make everything easier. Thanks for sharing your experience. Much appreciated. 👍🏻
  • Hmmm. I've bought 3 sizes of the water soluble stuff and one of a mesh kind. I'll be using then this spring.
  • You are the man when it comes to Hacks!! I watch you every time your on! Keep your hacks a comin!

Best rod holders ever!. I use them for all mine. I like staggering the reels so the don't hit. The magnet deal is cool. The warm water deal works good. I bring my reels in occasionally and run hot water over the spools and it helps a lot with twist. Great video!
  • @roberthenson6153
Love your tips. However, I’ll point out that your point of the Velcro straps, can be done with “plant tie” also occasionally available at dollar stores.
  • Hack number 5 is what I call Daisy Chain. Been roofer for over 50 years been doing that for decades now. I daisy chain all my drop cords, air hoses etc. .
