Explaining a hiphop beef and trying to clean up all the explicit language doesn't really work. Just leave it in there

Nobody thinks party up was about kurupt 😂
  • Just heard DMX on a rock song 10mins ago 😂 God new I needed this. Great timing

Ninjas really think X sent shooters at Kurupt over some p** and a diss track??? Seriously?
  • 12:48 Even though Party Up was a mega hit, DMX dissed Kurupt subliminally on it so barley anyone knew that it was even a diss track or who it was directed towards. People just thought it was another song where a gangsta rapper talks tough like they all do. It's not like Kurupt was facing public embarrassment because majority of people didn't even know that DMX is dissing him in that song and a lot people still don't know to this day and the ones that do know found out many years later that the song is actually a diss track towards Kurupt
  • Kurupt is from Philly, moved to West side late teens. That’s valuable info.

I remember this "beef". It was kinda wack in my opinion because Kurupt only dissed DMX because his relationship with Foxy went sour because of a rumor that she slept with X. Kurupt was really in his feelings at that time.

Someone said that DMX's song Niggaz Done Started Something is a diss to Tha Dogg Pound and someone said that DMX disses Kurupt in his song Number 11 from his album The Great Depression but both of these are most likely huge reaches
  • Murder Dog Mag really hated DMX back then, too. DMX was constantly in shit with West Coast artists.
  • I love DMX but Kurupt's "Callin' Out Names" is such an underrated diss track. "MuthaF D. MuthaF M. Only X I know is Xzibit or RBX" - Standout line, y'all!!!
