TURN ON THOSE CC!! That's right!! DUAL Video release!! (Main Vid: https://youtu.be/XBQBKseozuY) What is your most/least favorite thing about Sibu's life and lifestyle? Let me know down below!
-
I don't want to be an extreme minimalist by myself, but if I can consider his idea of "thinking of his neighborhood as his living space", then I think it's doable (and also mentally healthy).
-
-
This guy is the most interesting minimalist I’ve seen. He has a complete lifestyle of living, working and helping other people. And has plenty of interests and luxuries too.
-
I really liked his idea of considering the neighborhood as part of his living space😍 also, Im really interested in purchasing his designed items✨ such an inspiring interview!!
-
He moves from town to town solving mysteries.
-
Including your city as part of your home is such a great concept that I don't know why I never thought of it like that! But it makes sense that a routine can become too rigid so moving houses let's you change it. I am still in awe at his designs! The magnetic shopping bag is a genius idea but the bagless shirt remains my favourite!
-
I guess it makes sense why he doesn’t need much in the apartment when he says he doesn’t stay home that much and considers the whole town his home. I prefer to stay home and decompress so I definitely prefer to fill my house with items and hobbies I like instead.
-
It's so cool that he's able to help others become more minimalist as his job! Definitely feel inspired to declutter now 😆
-
I can totally understand what he said about a partner. Most times I'm thinking I don't ever need anyone im my life because I got so used to be by myself, sometimes for really short periods I think it could be good to find someone to share things with. 😂😂😂
-
Great interview ❤ I’m about to start “Swedish Death Cleaning” so my children don’t have to struggle with all my things after I die. He gives me ideas about how to think about what to keep.
-
Fascinating guy, always nice to return to a clean home, since he’s out so much. And a back to back follow up video on Explore 😮
-
I love the idea of living in different neighborhoods and experiencing different routines, and his pocketed clothes are cool. Japanese cities are set up so well for living a life outside your house, with access to a huge variety of affordable healthy food and services. I was surprised he had a robot vacuum given that his space would be so much easier to clean than a typical home with stuff in the way everywhere. But I’m sure he has considered its role and value very carefully!

Thank you so much for featuring Sibu on your channel! Listening to him share his thoughts on why he keeps the things he owns as well as looking at the cool products he designed to solve problems that assist in his way of life made me reflect on the concept he’s shared of considering your space, your city included as an extension of yourself. That’s such a thoughtful way of staying connected with the world you live in and his approach to minimalism reflects that cool way of thinking as well. Having recently let go of extra tools and supplies I owned that served their time and purpose with me away to help out a student in great need of them after they lost almost all their belongings to a blaze last week makes these two videos with Sidu all the more poignant as I reflect on the essentials behind the items and places surrounding my way of life and how it’s quite beautiful in its own way to go through life so lightly in one way or another that could help others too. Rooting for Sidu’s next adventures with what he does to help others and how he may continue to evolve with the way he lives too and will check out his own YouTube channel as well!

Not having a refrigerator is a hard one.
-
This is amazing. Thanks for sharing this in a deep interview. I saw the other video and was interested in knowing more about his lifestyle. I can see how much effort and enjoyment he has.
-
Sibu is such an inspiration! I really respect and admire his minimalist mindset, it keeps you at one with the community and it seems like he has found inner peace. I hope I may do the same one day and am so glad to see/hear his perspective. Thanks norm for another great video!
-
This is fascinating! One of my favorite videos on this channel so far!
-
2 videos omg! Norm is being generous to us! Thank you Norm. Something to watch later after work.
-
even if he finds a lover, they don't have to live together, he can do his minimalist stuff and even just be neighbours so he knows he's got his sanctuary next door instead of feeling cluttered by that's stuff
