How Godzilla has changed since 2014. Godzilla: King Of the Monsters features new designs and also size difference. The new Godzilla design has not changed much from Godzilla 2014. The fins are enlarged, the eyes become thicker and the overall design has changed a little. But, in my opinion, Godzilla is still fat, and if he was a little slender, it was more beautiful. What is your opinion on this video?

The 2019 version is basically Godzilla growing stronger due to the awakening of the other titans, 2014 version is him resurfacing for the first time in forever
  • @orimaddar9396
His feet in the 2019 movie are more like the old designs when the 2014 feet are much more elephant like

Besides the height, length, weight, dorsal spines, tails, arms and feet. The eyes on Godzilla 2019 is more reminiscent of human eyes and a bit wider.
  • I honestly prefer the tail of Godzilla 2014, it's more reptilian and pointyier. But I like both 2014 and 2019, I'm glad Godzilla is being handled with the respect that he deserves while still being an Americanized, modern version of the character.

So if after 5 years Godzilla has grown up like that, image how huge King Kong got after almost 30 years !!

You missed the fact that g19s arms are larger and his body and bulk are more toned making his waist narrower and making him look stronger.

The MonsterVerse Godzilla is designed to look noble, mighty, and regal, Legendary's Godzilla is portrayed as a bringer of order and a primordial balancing force of nature, Legendary's Godzilla is more benevolent and peaceful compared to most portrayals of Godzilla, Legendary's Godzilla's appearance and powers were designed to be more "believable" and "realistic". This incarnation of Godzilla has some similarities the pervious incarnations of the character. He was hit by an Oxygen Destroyer just like the 'The first Godzilla (1954)', and lived (Instead of being killed by the oxygen destroyer and completely disintegrating him in the original film). Like the"second" Showa Godzilla, he's a benevolent that fights other, far worse monsters up close and personal and is willing to team up with other monsters like Mothra. He's still a force of nature like the Heisei Godzilla, but he's not the destructive force of nature without any malicious intent and is more like an anti-hero and protector of the earth. He also has a super mode that resembles the Heisei Godzilla's Burning form, but it won't kill him (not getting killed by the meltdown). Like most of the Millennium Godzillas, he has sharp, bladed spines that can be weaponized. When he hit the Male Muto with a Tail Slap one of its legs was sliced off by the spines on top of Godzilla's tail. Like the Final Wars Godzilla, he's also the most powerful monster on Earth, only beaten by a monster that isn't from Earth (Monster X/Keiser Ghidorah and the "MonsterVerse" King Ghidorah).

Technically 2014 Godzillas breath was weakened by the emp that the mutos released
  • Godzilla 2019 spines were damaged in the comic they were cracked by muto prime roar that's why they look different Edit: I am aware now that muto prime is not in Godzilla king of the monsters you may look at the comment war to understand🤣

I kinda prefer the dorsal plates from the 2014 version, they look more intimidating. Also the atomic breath from the 2014 version looks better and more realistic in some way, its actual breath instead of a beam, like in the 2019 version
  • I like the longer more whiplike tail of 2014 more than 2019’s shorter and more rounded tail.
  • @iancassidy661
He was able to completely regrow the dorsal plates MUTO Prime destroyed in 2014 by 2019. Godzilla: King of the Monsters director Michael Dougherty compared this process to "deer or elk antlers. Or your own hair." Godzilla (MonsterVerse) is evolution in the flesh.
  • The atomic breath change has a canon reason. It's stated that the MUTO's EMP attack weakens Godzilla's atomic breath
