The reason PewDiePie wasn’t cancelled is because: 1. He didn’t mean it and he’s not racist. 2. He owned up to his mistake, apologized, and pledged to improve himself, and did.

This is fake, he didn't play a ukulele
-
The "I did not mean it at all, I was just upset and used the worst word that came to mind" is probably the most acceptable reasoning I've heard, and it felt genuine.

He already has a lifetime n-word pass from Edgar

short video not on the floor no fake crying a real apology no lies EDIT: no adds and floor gang

Who's here after watching pewds and ken rip other people's apology videos? And I have to agree, this is how all apology videos should go. Talk about the incident, acknowledging the mistake, apologize to the affected group and just promise to be better. Super simple, yet direct to the point

As a black man, I don't feel offended, I didn't need an apology but it's good that he gave one
-
-no crying -no bullshit -straight to the point -didn’t beat around the bush -owned up to it Exactly what an apology should be We owe this man some backpay

Now this is how you do an apology

Best part is the fact that unlike other people saying they will better themselves.. he actually DID become a better person

As an impressionable white kid who had never really seen racism first hand, to see someone I looked up to clearly state that this was wrong and that he was ashamed of himself really had an impact on my understanding of appropriate language. To see an idol of mine mess up and take accountability definitely influenced the way I handled accountability in my own life.
