If you have friends that are trying to pressure you into doing something you don't want to do those people aren't your friends.

"Every single action that I take is either getting me closer to my goals or farther away from them." - Wow. This is really powerful.

To all the young people who are saying that don't drink and never have...never start...i promise you, are NOT missing anything.

I am 22 and never drink alcohol, but why drink alcohol when you can drink juice? it tastes so much better, that's what my friends said to me.
  • I'm almost 60 years old & never drank alcohol. I think alcohol ages you faster, cause most individuals think I'm in my early 40's, mainly cause I don't have white hair & few wrinkles. šŸ˜

40 and just quit drinking. I want this next part of my life to be even better! Drinking alcohol no longer fits in my life style. I got up to 300 lbs, and was wasting too much money and time with everything that revolved around it. Thanks for your video! =0)
  • I'm in med school and we learn a lot about how alcohol damages the body but sadly the alcohol industry doesn't let this information become popularā€¦ I hope one day they put warning labels on alcohol and commercials for alcohol like they do for tobacco products

I used to drink regularly every weekend with friends for years and used to get totally smashed. But now if I even have only 1 beer, I will literally have a hangover for 2, 3 or sometimes even 4 days! So now I do not drink at all. It's unbelievable the pressure I've gotten from other people when they see me ordering just a seltzer water. When I explain the bad effects, I've had multiple people tell me they wouldn't know how to carry on living if they couldn't drink anymore. How sad is that?! Alcohol is so toxic and has destroyed so many lives. Yet binge drinking is encouraged and glamorized endlessly in movies, tv, music, everywhere. I fell into that trap for many years and thought I was so cool because I could drink so much. It's a sad state of society.
  • When I choose not to drink, my trick for getting the drunks to stop pressuring me to drink is to offer to do a shot with them (I ALWAYS order these shots so that I'm in control of the situation). I ask the drunks what kind of shots they want, then I go to the bar, order real shots for them, and secretly order a cranberry shot for myself. This way, I don't have to be harassed by the drunks all night b/c they think I'm drinking an alcoholic shot, and I don't have to compromise on my decision to stay sober. It's a win-win, and it works EVERY time!

I used to be a partyer.. I dont have really any friends anymore. They still party Not me. I am glad though I'm better off solo where I can focus on my goals.. and it keeps me away from their negativity and gossip about ppl. I say eat the crabs if they try to bring you down! I think crab is healthy? lol

Not drinking alcohol=less calories and money in the pank.

Thanks for this video. I don't drink alcohol, but ppl assume that I do because I socialize and go to parties sometimes. I come across some disappointing faces at times when they find out I don't drink. Some ppl dont seem to understand that you can still have a great time without being a drunk mess.

You just shared my exact thoughts on alcohol! Thank you so much! I'm about to turn 40, I'm still in fitness competitor shape, and look/feel better than I did in my 20s when I drank a lot. Thank you for being authentic too, integrity is a lost art in this world. We love you, keep up the good work!

i dont get how people can regularly drink and workout. i feel terrible the day after drinking and being in a dehydrated state does mean i can not workout as hard. so i dont drink that often anymore.

"Crabs in a bucket" syndrome definitely summarizes a lot of my friends. I work at a restaurant so everyone's idea of socializing is hitting the bar after work. It's tough.
  • Good for you! Rare to find someone that doesnt drink unless its for religious reasons.

It really gets on my nerves how pushy and judgemental ppl can be. It's so stupid. If someone doesn't want to drink then leave it alone.
