As a One Punch Man fan, I don't think it makes sense for people to argue about it. Not yet at least. I mean, we wouldn't pit Kid Goku against Superman or episode one Mark Grayson against Homelander. People are jumping the gun and making themselves look ridiculous.

People are all forgetting Saitama's motivation and reason he wanted to get stronger at first in the first place. It's very consistently shown and stated that monsterization can be caused by an extreme drive, garou is a good example of this. Or even eating too much of one thing, like crabalante. In Saitama's own words (or something like it, because I forgot the exact line. Mbad), "I want to become a hero, one who can send villains like you flying with a single punch!". He said that to crabalante, and everyone who has survived his punches so far, has had that exact thing happen to them, being sent flying. Most things dying in one punch is just because most of them can't handle the force needed to send them flying being concentrated into the size of a fist. Him being ridiculously strong is just a side effect

Dragonball is just very poorly written. There is no point in doing any of this with dragonball characters for nothing the writing is nonsensical to a degree not even bad fanfiction usualy is. Its just bringing new forms and boosting older characters to sell merchandise. Its a soulless cashgrab and thats it.

Im a biased OPM scaler myself and I stand by Saitama being multi galaxy but theres an infinite gap between destroying multiple galaxies and destroying a whole macrocosm then getting amped beyond that. Its good to see were passed the days of arguing if Boros is star or planet surface level and thus people capped Saitama off at planet level while ignoring the guidebook on Boros confirming his last attack being STAR LEVEL!
