All those "1950's Super Panavision 70" videos feel so dreamily comfy. It feels like I imagined them right before I fell asleep.

Very good idea that we can still see Vader's eyes through the helmet. It's so 50's.
  • @littlesigh
As a boomer that grew up watching 50's Sci-fi I think this is awesome! LOL
  • I saw Forbidden Planet from 1956 for the first time in 1976 and then saw Star Wars on its second week in 1977. This is like both films in one. Nostalgia buzz.

I would genuinely love to see reboots like these.

  • Imagine being a kid in the fifties and seeing this for a trailer. Come on, I'm a grown ass man in 2024 and I would LOVE to see an entire movie in this format.

This is very much honoring the earliest sketches of Star Wars concept art

most excellent, on all levels. That was fun.
  • Dude... your production concepts are outstanding, quite to the 50's flavor, the missing visors and visible faces are pure nostalgia. Do a "making of", love to see how you arrive at your ideas.

This is actually a pretty imaginative scenario. It feels like a blend between some sort of strange dream and an alternate reality. Like, what if in a parallel world, George Lucas began production for Star Wars at an earlier time period before deciding on what the films are today? Thatā€™s so cool. Thanks for sharing this.

That was really well done. Thanks for sharing.

I had to comeback here, as it is so well done. It's just like that Technicolor of the 50's and the costumes and people reimagined to that time period. I remember my mother and father telling me all about the 50's... 'Oh you kids would've enjoyed that time', 'it was so different back then', 'It was nothing like today', 'you could leave your door open and no one would bother you'... This was back in the threshold of the 80's, another great decade brought to you by the 20th century.... I am 57, and I still have my father around, 81 years of age to be precise, now he tells me how much he misses the 80's.... Full Circle. I wonder if there will be decades like the 50's or 80's ever again to come? In the present condition of America, I doubt it, but miracles have been known to happen.
  • these are an absolute delight. i would so pay to own a full collection from this film studio
