This is how you curate a car collection, no amount of money can buy you this sort of taste. All these pretty, dinky little Italian cars, especially the Zagatos are just exquisite. Chapeau to Gordon.

As Italian it's very rewarding to see one of the greatest mechanical engineers ever deeply in love with Italian engineering.
  • That Abarth's engine: >100 hp per liter in the 60s (and naturally aspirated of course) is absolutely insane.
  • These italian cars from the 60s are absolutely gorgeous, real pieces of art to my eyes

He has a unique taste in small cars with little engines. Most of them far too small for him to fit inside them, so they had to be modified. He's a really nice man.
  • Gordon Murray - what a legend. And that green Alfa - looks stunning to me.
  • This is what you get when a man who could have anything actually knows what he really wants. Gordon always seems so relaxed and at peace. Though Gandini is my favorite designer, I have always had a soft spot for Zagato cars also. The phrase "excitingly chunky " always sums it up for me. Good work Spada.

I am 21 and I really like some of these old car designs. Really wish to own some of these in the future.
  • @Jengalese
Now that's my type of car collection. Wonderful.

Oh my goodness! Not only does he design lovely cars, his taste is impeccable. None of them are over the top, but are just magic.
  • Italian and English cars back then were filled with charm and character. Such a different era.

Thanks for just letting him talk! Great presentation.
  • Just stunning! I’m a huge fan of 60’s Italian classics as well, just a superb and romantic era.πŸ™πŸ»

That green ZR is an absolute dream. Those wheels really make the car.

Gordon is truly a 'car guy'. Some of these cars are just glorious, particularly the abarth and the alfa! The level of want is seriously overwhelming. I'm off to start digging round the back off my sofa! 🀣

He's so smooth with the intro, brings in Gordon and starts stumbling over every word

23mins never went that quickly in my life, Gordon Murray has sublime taste in obscure & fascinating cars, I've seen a few videos on his incredible collection, truly appreciate watching him talk about them, Rj in Oz
  • This is the best recent Gordon interview I have seen and what a great idea having him pick 5 rather than trying to cover them all. Brilliant channel you have here. Best of luck!

These cars just bring a smile on your face. Something most cars are missing these days.
