The region of Kursk is historically Ukrainian. According to the last tsarist census, over 60% of the population were Ukrainian. Even now, most people have Ukrainian names there.

  • Kursk is Ukrainian land not Russian so they are liberating their people from Russian aggression!

Very true giving Russia a taste of their own medicine is only informing Russia what it is like for them to feel what they are giving out especially to Ukraine whom was not interested in being aggressive with another country in the first place and only wanted to live a peaceful time

A news report interviewing liberated people in Kursk would be very interesting to Western audiences. Comparing and contrasting stories, in the archives, of Russian occupation. It is a war of narrative, and nothing rings truer than the reaction of the local population to an advancing army. We already know that Ukrainians did NOT feel "liberated" by Russia. How do the people of Kursk feel?

The number is more likely 10 000 soldiers, but not all are in combat or position yet.

So in the peace talks, Ukraine can offer the occupied land in Kursk in exchange for the occupied land in Donbas and Crimea. I like it.

I watch your channel daily for updates etc. This 'expert' seems to not have no real, current information. Saying this is revenge from Zelensky is ridiculous. Also her opinion that things won't change with a change in the US President is ridiculous! If Trump gets in the Ukraine is screwed for US support sadly
