Young Rooney from 2004-2006 was like a young Mike Tyson on the pitch. Just a force of nature. I feel he sacrificed himself for the good of the team. Always playing second fiddle behind Van Nistelrooy Ronaldo Tevez Berbatov Van Persie Zlatan. That 2 seasons after Cr7 left, Wazza was banging in 20-30 goals. Then RVP and Zlatan came in and his numbers dropped again.
