RØDE NT-USB Major Distortion Problem

This problem started on my first use of this mic when I got it yesterday. It has not gone away.

I had a similar problem with my NT-USB. It destorted sound at the beginning of every recording. I first thought the mike is bad but when I connected it directly to the computer (not via an USB hub) the problem was gone. Maybe you should try a more direct USB connection.
