The Cumbria Way - 73 Miles from Ulverston to Carlisle.

Join me on my epic journey to complete the Cumbria Way in just three days! While most hikers take four to six days to complete the 112km trail, I was determined to challenge myself and see if I could do it in half the time. The last day of the hike was the toughest, with a gruelling 51km stretch that pushed me to my limits both mentally and physically. I walked for 12 hours straight, battling fatigue and self-doubt, but ultimately triumphing as I crossed the finish line.

In this video, you'll see stunning footage of the Cumbria Way and the breathtaking scenery along the route. You'll also get an inside look at the challenges I faced, from navigating tricky terrain to overcoming doubts and fears. Whether you're an experienced hiker or just love a good adventure story, this video is sure to inspire and motivate you. So sit back, relax, and join me on this incredible journey!

  • Watched these back to back. Superb achievement and with walk-bys! Looks like a really good long distance trail.
  • @superbadiii4856
Great effort Kris. The challenge is now in to do it in 2 days. Boom 💥 lol
  • The daily release is perfect. Absolutely agree that it's better to watch them daily. I think most people do them weekly simply because of the amount of editing.

Thanks for filming your adventure, I’m hoping to do this route this summer so I’m watching quite a lot of these videos at the moment and yours is one of the best. Your energy and humour really comes through the camera and you make it very watchable I have subscribed and will be watching your coast to coast series also!😊

Walked this 25 years ago! Thoroughly enjoyed your vlogs, relived memories, great fun watching as joints don't entertain that much use these days. Thanks for your time in putting these vlogs together and I hope you find a job soon. Good luck! ❤

Just binge watched this and the Dales Way. I'm off on the Dales Way next week. Thanks for the entertainment! There's a mass of content on hiking and outdoors. You have a great manner that makes you want to watch, with right amount of humour. Good luck with the channel 👍

Excellent series Kris! Just finished watching it after your recommendation 👍 Definitely on my to do list, but certainly won't be doing it in three days! 😂
  • @Upinthills68

Walking the Cumbra Way in 3 days is quite an achievement. Really enjoyed the viewing. Thanks Kris for all the quality filming along the route.
  • I was up in the Pentland Hills today. Okay, I only walked four miles, but it was a good walk in the hills. It's good to see you enjoying yourself in the countryside.

  • @SuperCdp1
Great series Kris, really well put together and edited. I'd love to do it myself but in 5 days mind 😂
  • @Markwildcamp
I enjoyed that, new sub from me, I did it in 4 a few year ago but watching this I wish I'd carried on on the 3rd day, thanks for sharing
  • Brilliant. These vids were up there with the Coast to Coast ones, if not better. You look like you have lost quite a bit of weight since I last saw you, which isn't surprising doing 40-50k walks in a day! The vids are getting more polished as well. Feel like I'm watching Michael Palin on one of his series. Keep them coming.
  • With a fluke i've fallen by chance to a start of watching your video's..Did the Cumbrian way in 2015 july time wasn't the best weather wind & rain for most of the time heading over to Lingy hut for shelter remember the wind battering the hut & it's 1st time ive seen it since that awful day though enjoyed the 4 day hike of the way...Great stuff Kris love the content & look forward to following you for many adventures
  • @Fishy1764
