I'm currently working on a monologue, and this video helps me soooo much! Thank you for the great advices! I didn't know why I wasn't "feeling" the scene, now I know how to make it better and more realistic! 😊

My acting teachers told me to do this. She and he said that one of the most important things is to know and form your character or else you won’t sound realistic, she makes us repeat the lines over and over again until she “believes us” lmao. In my mind, I feel like I know my character so well and I can say my lines realistically and probably even improve if I have to, but when it actually comes out of my mouth, I feel like it sounds so fake😔. Any suggestions/tips?
  • Excellent advice and guidance as always. 😊. I did a supporting artist role yesterday for a popular TV crime drama. Your tuition definitely helped. Thank you!
  • Thank you so much! I have a big audition for a Hulu show in two days and my acting coach said I have to make two character choices.

I get the entrance. But regarding the exit, if the character doesn't know what happens after the current scene, (like in life) how can we let that affect him during the present scene? Apologies if I've missed something and thanks again for the great work you do. Excellent work man. I respect your mission. You are helping a lot of us.
