Hi and good day Wiley ! Your news is very good and surprising to me . Your sons should be very proud of you as their dad . I know I would be ! God bless you and them ! Be careful . Ed….
  • Go for it 👍. I’ve retired twice and I didn’t like it. I’ve been working my profession as an Industrial Journeyman Machine Repairman for the same company for the last 8 years 👍. I’m 76 now and just as excited to get up every morning for work. Go for it Wiley 👍

Thanks for another great video Wiley and Jacob. It was interesting that is for sure. Looks like you need to do some fixing up on these pieces of equipment the way I look at it. Probably haven’t had the best of care. With a little fixing and some TLC you should be ready to go. I don’t understand if you have a big area to cut and get ready or if you are just going to work some small areas. That would tell you how much time and dollars to invest I would think depending on how much of an area you are going to tackle. Best of luck with your project. Let us know the size of your project. You take care and be safe Wiley and Jacob. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
  • As I told you I live in central Missouri My Brother In-law he is same age as me 60 yrs old His whole life that is all he has done is a logger. Owns his own truck loader skidder; Now his son my nephew is doing it to. It is hard work. He married my sister 40 years ago . I started helping him when we both was 20 hauling mine props on a pick-up we carried them out of the woods on are shoulders. They was 8" x 8' long to 12" x 8' long. that was one of the hardest jobs I ever done. Young men today don't know what hard works is like the work we did years ago. Here in Missouri its hard to find a good worker. You an your son be careful out there.

It's great to hear you're getting back into the logging business. Wiley sure did look tuff getting those bolts out of that grapple gear box. That was a big gap between the grapple and gear box. A lot of grease on that grapple,, looks like there was a leak, looks like i hard job getting that gear box ad grapple up and running again. Excellent video Wiley 👍👍👍👍👍
